By the People, for the People (BPP) is a people-centric initiative where Americans deliberate to reimagine their democratic constitutional republic so that it better reflects their needs and interests. Broad involvement of the American people is essential for the work of the initiative to accurately and legitimately serve them.

Sign up for our newsletter and follow us on social media to stay informed about what is happening with BPP and all the exciting progress that is building across the U.S.
Spread the word about BPP to friends, family, groups, and organizations who may not yet be aware of the initiative’s efforts. Encourage conversations about the initiative and about how folks want to be represented.
Join future BPP listening sessions to discuss how you and your community members view our nation’s democracy and in what ways it should meet Americans’ needs. Get notified about these sessions through BPP’s newsletter, your community organizations or through media outlets.
Apply to be an individual member of your state’s BPP coalition when it is founded and be involved in the coalition’s public civics campaign.
Run for a BPP state delegate position. If elected, represent your state as one of its official BPP delegates in the national People’s Assembly.
Apply to be an “at large” (not representing a specific state) BPP delegate to the national People’s Assembly.
Provide feedback on the draft of the Democracy Roadmap that is produced by the national People's Assembly.
Help advocate in your community for the adoption of the Democracy Roadmap's recommendations!
